Mda, to clarify kato horata, ako ima zainteresovani i problema s glibc 2.3.x 
ne e razreshen pri pitastiq ...

dori i tova e nqmalo da se okazhe dostaty4no ... problema e v upstream glibc 
2.3.x sources ... 2.3.x changes some symbols (__ctype_b, __ctype_toupper, 
__ctype_tolower) as hidden attribute. T.e. ne se export-vat tezi symbols, i 
syotvetno gyrmi linkage-a na squida... fix: da se export.

Dokolkoto vidqh slackware ftp changelog, za sega nqma promqna v glibc-2.3.1 
packages... 
fix za sega (t.e. da se export-vat gornite symbols) ima samo kato 
distro-specific patches (stoto se nalaga, dokato se 4aka upstreama) ...  
Ta vzimash ot debian unstable libc6 2.3.1-3 ili samo syotvetniq diff.gz, trebe 
ti debian/patches/glibc23-ctype-compat i recompile kakto ti namerish za 
dobre.

RedHat systo imat fix ... 

taka 4e compiler-a (i linker-a) nqmat nisto obsto v slu4aq ...
